Codi is a Colorado native and started riding in Georgetown, CO. After she graduated high school she went to college in Northeastern Ohio to a college known for their outstanding equine program, Lake Erie College. Lake Erie College offers classes that specialize in learning how to teach riders. While attending school there she competed on both the English and Western IHSA teams. She also studied abroad in England at Hartpury College. There she had the opportunity to study and ride horses with different instructors, expanding her knowledge base. At the end of her college career she traveled to Argentina where she got to ride, and see different Hunter/Jumper facilities at an international level. She is also a CHA Certified instructor, which specializes in safety. Since graduating with a Bacholer's degree in equine entrepreneurship, Codi has been teaching students of all different ages and levels. She has taught in West Virginia and across the state of Colorado. Her main focus is Equitation and Hunters, but does a little of everything. Her students have also been showing across the state. Codi's international experience and college background make her unique to this area. She believes that every horse can teach us something. She can be reached at email@example.com or 303-408-6651
Paige Perla started her riding career at the age of 6 in Parker, Colorado at what was then known as High Prairie Farms (The Colorado Horse Park). Always known as the ‘girl who would ride anything’ her passion from her youth has never faltered, she has known since she was a young “horse-crazy” girl that her career would be with horses. Although Paige brings more than just passion to her training program, she has more than 20 years of experience and an extensive and impressive show record. Paige is the trainer everyone turns to with questions because she is so easy to talk to and has a wealth of knowledge.. Direct from the mouth of one of Paige’s clients, “Paige has demonstrated a high level of expertise in problem solving involving both horse and rider...Paige is a true professional possessing inner strength while having compassion for both horse and rider.” Her career began as a working student under Nicole Webb, this position allowed her to be exposed to each type of horse the Hunter/Jumper industry had to offer. Once Paige graduated she began her career as a groom with top Hunter/Jumper trainers in Colorado such as: Charlie Dennehy of Adobe Ridge Farms and Andrea Van Meenen of The Wild Ranch. She soon moved to Assistant Trainer under Michael Bonham at Bonham Stables in Omaha, Nebraska. With Michael, she taught riding lessons and traveled the country to various shows for clients as well as herself. When she returned to Colorado she worked at Cobblestone Riding Club as Assistant Trainer to Karen Cranham. Paige is a USHJA Certified Trainer; Paige’s three philosophies in training consist of: Care, Communication and Consistency. Those three things make happy horses and horse lovers. Paige will guide your experience with the same passion and philosophy she brings to her own riding. Paige has now brought her training program to Kent Hill Farm and has openings for new clients.
